EVENTS: CRADLES 3rd STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING
On 29th and 30th September 2025, the 3rd Steering Committee Meeting of the CRADLES Project took place in Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
The meeting gathered project partners to review progress, share recent achievements, and align on upcoming actions aimed at protecting and restoring nursery areas in the Adriatic and Ionian region.
Key topics discussed included:
Strengthening cooperation among partners and local stakeholders Advancing carbon sequestration assessment methodologies Integrating scientific research with local management and policy actions Preparing joint communication and dissemination strategies for project resultsThe meeting also featured field visits to local wetland sites Park prirode Hutovo blato, offering participants a chance to observe firsthand the challenges and potential of nursery habitat conservation in the region.
